Another win for privacy with Google; A federal judge ruled today he would limit a subpoena issued to Google by the Department of Justice. Uncle Sam originally requested billions of URLs and two months worth of user searches, which is a clear violation of many privacy laws. Google fought back and thanks to a reasonable judge, will only have to hand out 50,000 URLs, a significantly smaller and benign number.
